Species at War

 

 In this unit you start by learning what microbes are and how your body defends against ones which could cause you disease. You also look into how humans have developed vaccines to futher safeguard you against deseases caused by microbes. Later, you look at interdependency from Year 7 and extend it to investigate how animals fit into ecosystems and how these ecosystems can be altered. Finally, you will learn what photosynthesis is and how plants are perfectly adapted to perform this.
